Let's get right to it eh?

Disclaimer: This device was sent to me by Geekvape for review.

    MOD OVERVIEW

This updated "limited edition" version of the Aegis Legend has quite a few noticeable changes from the original. A new magnesium alloy lightens up the frame quite a bit, which is probably the most noticeable modify. Another cosmetic change is the Zeus logo etched into the leather on the behind. This one likewise has the upgraded screen face, which I accept seen afterwards Legend models have. This has a little bump out over the screen, and supposedly has some amend water intrusion protection over the original. Other than these few things that I could spot right away, it isn't much difference. If you want to run into my full thoughts of this device, I reviewed it in the leap of 2018, so check out my profile for that post.

    HOW It VAPES

I wasn't really going to post anything here, but I institute the upgraded firmware on this to be MUCH meliorate than my OG Legend. I was unable to upgrade my old 1, and so I don't know if these changes are on the older one, but information technology vapes much different than mine. For starters, the ramp time is cut way down in wattage mode, so it hits much harder out of the gate. I also plant the battery life to be improved slightly. I did a quick test of the TC to run into how that is, and it is mediocre with the standard SS setting. It started to provide a choppy vape that cut off way too early. Overall, this appears to still be a wattage banger, but information technology does it better than it did before.

    ZEUS SUB-OHM TANK DETAILS

Alright, so this is the main reason why I am even posting this review. First the Zeus RTA, and so the Zeus Dual RTA, then the Zeus X RTA… Now, the Zeus Sub-ohm tank. This tank offers all of the things that made the Zeus RTA pop, merely utilizes a stock coil instead of a rebuildable deck. Out of the gate, I plant that I really like the look of this tank. The Zeus tanks have ever looked good in my opinion, and this one is no exception. It also comes in some really great colors too. I vaped the heck out of this 1, and so let's get over what I found.

    _____________________________________________________________________________________

    COILS

The coils that come up with this tank are a new proprietary design. To bandy these coils, the lesser unscrews off the tank, and the coils are pushed into identify. If yous tin can't pull the coils with your nails, they include a neat little tool which pops under the roll and aids in removal. These are held very snug in identify, so at that place is no incertitude that the O-rings volition keep the roll sealed in place. I will touch on their performance in my final thoughts.

    AIRFLOW

Similar to the Advken Owl, the Zeus Sub-ohm tank utilizes tiptop air flow, which travels to the base of the whorl and upward the center. I found the air flow to be more than than adequate and even turned mine down to nigh 1/3 airtight for the most function. It isn't noisy, or turbulent, and provides a cracking vape experience in my opinion. I also found that the AFC has a decent amount of tension, merely non too much. It also doesn't tend to wing off the summit like the one on the Zeus X RTA did.

    Final THOUGHTS/HOW It VAPES

Since I already reviewed the Aegis Legend, this segment isn't actually about that. I like the changes fabricated to the Fable for sure, and think it is the best Fable yet. I am focused more on how this Sub-ohm tank performs. I will be honest. I thought this was cipher only a cash catch on the Zeus proper name, but afterwards using it for a while, I establish that Geekvape did their homework and created a decent tank for sure. I found the combination of their mesh coils, and the air flow to offering flavor that is correct up in that location with some of my favorite mesh tanks. The unabridged experience is positive in my opinion, with just a couple of pocket-sized cons that I tin think of. One of the cons is coil life. These are shorter coils, offering a little less surface surface area for cotton fiber. I don't know if that is the reason, but they terminal just a couple of refills shy from some of the taller coils out there (Mesh pro, Falcon, etc.). Another con with these coils is that they are proprietary. I know for a fact I won't ever see these coils in the shops in my town, so once these coils are washed, I will have to shop online or shelf the tank. Other than these couple of things, I call back that Geekvape made a decent tank hither, and information technology pairs up really well with the new Legend modern. It is almost like this should take been the only philharmonic they made honestly. If y'all oasis't had the chance to get a Legend (one of my superlative mods of 2018), then I remember at present is a groovy fourth dimension to requite 1 a try.

    OVEN TEST

If I this were to accidentally autumn into my pizza oven would I become out and get some other? I have been rocking a Legend since release, and then I would definitely want to keep i in my collection.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    PROS
    • Lighter bodied modernistic
    • Updated firmware
    • Zeus logo looks badass
    • Tank has good flavor
    • Air period is too smoothen

    CONS
    • If you have a Fable, it probably isn't worth the upgrade, unless weight was your only gripe
    • The coils are proprietary so finding them may be hard
    • Coil life isn't equally good as some of the best coils out in that location

Thank you all for reading and thank you to Geekvape for sending this out for review. I am seeing the kit going for near $95, and the tank itself selling for well-nigh $thirty.

REVIEW CRITERIA: I use each particular for about 2 weeks to ensure I have collected enough data to adequately write a review. I use the same e liquid in tanks or rdas throughout all my reviews to ensure that I am comparison apples to apples between all modern equipment. I practise not mail service reviews until I feel confident that I accept used it enough to give an educated review. The reason I started doing reviews was due to poor purchasing decisions in my vaping infancy most ii years agone. Dorsum then, I purchased several different pieces of hardware without really enjoying it and I promise my reviews can guide people into spending their hard-earned money more wisely than I did! ****Keep in mind that some items I receive may exist pre-release and not in retail packaging. Quality may be less than the finished product and what is in the packet may differ from the retail parcel as well.
